Current Service Model

TurboLearn is currently offered free of charge to all users. We reserve the right to introduce premium features, subscription plans, or other paid services in the future. Any such changes will be communicated in advance, and you will have the option to:

Continue using free features (if available)
Upgrade to premium features
Discontinue using the Service

3. Account Registration and Security

Registration Requirements

To use TurboLearn, you must:

Provide accurate and complete registration information
Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
Be at least 13 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
Not create more than one account without permission

Account Security

You are responsible for:

4. Acceptable Use Policy

Upload illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or offensive content

System Abuse

Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise our systems
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service without authorization
Overload, spam, or disrupt the Service infrastructure
Circumvent any access restrictions or security measures

Misuse of AI

Generate content for illegal purposes
Attempt to manipulate or deceive the AI systems
Use the Service to create misleading or fraudulent content

Other Violations

Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Harass, threaten, or harm other users

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

5. Your Content and Intellectual Property

Your Ownership Rights

Your Materials: You retain all ownership rights to the learning materials, notes, and documents you upload
AI-Generated Content: You own the summaries, study aids, and other content generated by our AI for you
Usage Rights: You can use, modify, and distribute AI-generated content as you see fit

License You Grant Us

By uploading content to TurboLearn, you grant us a limited license to:

Process, analyze, and transform your content using our AI technology
Store your content temporarily for service delivery (up to 30 days)
Display AI-generated results back to you
Use anonymized, aggregated data for service improvement

This license is:

Non-exclusive: You can use your content elsewhere

Revocable: Ends when you delete your content or account

Your Representations

By uploading content, you represent and warrant that:

You own or have permission to use all uploaded content
Your content does not violate any third-party rights
Your content complies with all applicable laws
You have authority to grant us the license described above

6. Service Availability and Modifications

Specific AI results or accuracy levels
Availability of any particular feature

We may experience downtime due to:

Scheduled maintenance (we'll notify you when possible)
Technical issues or system failures
Force majeure events beyond our control

Service Modifications

We reserve the right to:

Modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the entire Service

7. Pricing and Payment Terms

TurboLearn is currently offered free of charge. You can access and use all available features without payment.

Future Paid Features

Pricing Transparency: All prices will be clearly displayed before any purchase

Optional Upgrades: You will never be automatically charged; upgrading to paid features will require your explicit consent

Refund Policy: If paid features are introduced, our refund policy will be:

Refunds available for technical issues preventing service use within 14 days of purchase

Educational Use Disclaimer

TurboLearn is a study aid and learning tool. You are responsible for:

Verifying the accuracy of AI-generated content
Complying with your institution's academic integrity policies
Not using the Service for plagiarism or cheating
Understanding that AI summaries may not capture all nuances of source materials

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

No Liability for Indirect Damages: We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Lost profits or revenue
Lost data or content
Academic consequences (failed exams, disciplinary actions)
Business interruption

Liability Cap: Our total liability to you for all claims arising from your use of TurboLearn shall not exceed the greater of:

The amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (currently $0)
$100 USD

Exceptions: Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for personal injury or certain damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TurboLearn, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party rights (including intellectual property rights)
Your misuse of the Service
Your uploaded content
Your violation of applicable laws

11. Account Termination

Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by:

Using the account deletion feature in your settings

Upon termination:

Your access to the Service will be immediately revoked
Your data will be deleted within 30 days per our retention policy
These Terms will no longer apply to you

Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

We reasonably believe your account is being used fraudulently or illegally
We discontinue the Service entirely
Required by law or government authority

Notice: We will provide reasonable notice before termination unless:

You have seriously violated these Terms

Effects of Termination

Upon termination by either party:

You lose access to your account and all associated data
Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (liability disclaimers, indemnification, dispute resolution) will remain in effect
You remain liable for any obligations incurred before termination

12. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

Before filing a formal legal claim, you agree to:

Wait at least 30 days for a resolution attempt

Most disputes can be resolved quickly through direct communication.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Jurisdiction and Venue

For any disputes that cannot be resolved informally:

You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Delaware, United States
You waive any objection to venue in these courts
You consent to personal jurisdiction in these courts

Arbitration (Optional)

For disputes not exceeding $10,000, we may mutually agree to binding arbitration instead of court proceedings. Arbitration would be conducted by a neutral arbitrator under applicable arbitration rules.

Class Action Waiver

You agree to bring claims only in your individual capacity and not as part of any class or representative action. You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits against TurboLearn.

Exception: If this class action waiver is found unenforceable, the arbitration agreement does not apply.

Exceptions to Dispute Resolution

Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for:

Intellectual property infringement
Unauthorized access to systems
Violations that require immediate action

13. General Legal Terms

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TurboLearn regarding your use of the Service, superseding any prior agreements.

Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. For material changes:

We will notify you via email at least 30 days before changes take effect
We will display a notice on our website
You will have the opportunity to review and accept changes
Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance

The remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect

No Waiver

Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

War, terrorism, or civil unrest
Government actions or regulations
Internet or telecommunications failures
Third-party service provider failures

Relationship

These Terms do not create any partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between you and TurboLearn.

Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
